BMFR 50th Family Reunion Jubilee! We want you to leave the reunion with lasting memories and moments. A hired photographer will be capturing family and single portraits at our banquet on Saturday night. Please view the photographer’s website to see the quality of work he provides. Below are a list of prices. You will need to pay for your portraits on Saturday before you pose for any of your portraits. Cash is an excellent method of payment but not the only method. Bring correct change.

Greetings Family Members,

Our 50th Family Reunion Jubilee is quickly approaching. We are asking you to register (now)so that we can have an accurate headcount on all those attending which allows our committee to plan accordingly. If you are coming please complete online registration here or contact Lucy Boyd Diaz and I will mail you a paper copy of the (registration form) so that you may mail your check or money order to Elizabeth Bell. You may register online by completing the online registration and you may pay at the reunion as we have allowed for 200 family members. Our caterer is counting plates so everyone will have a wrist band to go through the food lines. We have reunion bills to pay and would like you to pay now. 💰💵🤑❤️💯💯

Commemorative Polo Shirts

We have Commemorative Polo Shirts available for Pre-Order again Pre-Order only. All sizes are the same price $30. Available in Red, White, and Gold. Orders must be received by July 15, 2023, and shirts will be picked up at the family reunion in Columbia ,SC. Email: Carl McCormick to place your order. BMFR Recipe Book

We are excited to announce the Pre-Sale of our Family Reunion Recipe Book on Monday June 18. It is a Spiral book full of 22 delicious recipes from some of the talented and wonderful cooks in our family from the coast of the East & West; North & South and the lower Southwest. Price for each book is $18. Sales from this book will be used to pay the remainder balance owed for this reunion and afterwards monies will build our family treasure. Below is the official front copy. The back of the book has the commemorative 50th Reunion Logo as you see in the center of the front cover. These books make great gifts for for those who do not cook much; Holiday gifts, girlfriend, Dads, brothers, birthday, family & friends gifts, young people, sorority gifts, etc. The recipes are simple such as soups, comfort foods, salads, desserts, pasta dishes, healthy foods, etc. 1. Your can pay for your book in full and it can be shipped to you before the reunion with a $6.00 shipping and handling. $18+6=$24. Cutoff for shipping is July 17. 2. You may pre-order and pay for your order in full $18 before the reunion and pick up your book at the reunion. Cutoff date is July 17. 3. There will be a limited supply currently 70 books total. 4. You may decide not to pre-order but pay for and pick up your book at the reunion. 5. You and several family members may want to order a bulk supply and have your shipment sent to one address before the reunion and disburse the books to family members then I will provide you with the cost of shipping. Greetings Family Members,

We are excited that we are in the final stages of planning for The Boyd-McCormick Family Reunion Golden Jubilee. The theme is “We’ve Come This Far By Faith,” which has been our motto since our first gathering in 1974. God willing, we will gather Thursday July 27 through Sunday July 30, 2023, to celebrate 50 Golden years. Our reunion is being hosted by our eleven 2nd Generation BMFR Families.

For the 50 th Boyd-McCormick Family Reunion semi-formal banquet, the colors are red, white, black, and gold. We are asking that you wear any combination of the colors listed and you may wear sneakers to compliment your attire. No jeans allowed.

All reunion information and forms are available on our family reunion website bmfr.org and limited information on our reunion Facebook page titled: BMFR- Lets Keep in Touch, by permission only. For this family reunion the registration fee has been reduced to $50 for each person 18 years and older. Elizabeth Bell Johnson, granddaughter of Mattie Boyd Johnson, will be receiving all mail in registration
forms for all those paying by check. Please ensure you fill out the registration form in its entirety and mail it as soon as possible. Family Reunion T-shirts will be available for purchase and all shirts no matter the size is priced at $20 each. No T-shirt orders will be received after June 30. Please contact Lauryetta Gentry, to place your order @ 336-504-4011.We will continue our Popcorn Fundraiser through the company (Macks Poppin Fundraiser), up until the month of the reunion and is asking all to participate to generate funds to help support this reunion as we have reduced the registration fee and the fundraiser will cover incidentals. You may share the fundraiser link located on our Facebook page with anyone including family, friends, and co-workers. Many flavors are available for purchase. We are asking all family members who have served in the United States Armed Forces including, World War II, Korean and Vietnam Veterans to please send your Name, Rank, Military Occupation Skill (Job title), Date Entered Service and Date of Discharge. If retired, please list retired and how many years served. If you are currently serving, please list that you are actively serving. For our memorial service during our banquet on Saturday we are asking for a picture of your loved one or a front-page copy of the obituary with the name, sunrise, and sunset date.
